0-60 Program        
The 0-60 program helps you transform your basic swim, bike and run skills into race success. This 13-week program provides the training schedule, club support and mentorship you need to complete your first Olympic distance triathlon (1.5k swim, 40k bike, and 10k run). The program begins in mid-January and will have you race-ready in time for the HITS Napa Olympic distance triathlon in mid-April, the Wildflower Olympic Triathlon in May (or any other Olympic Distance tri you may have signed up for)


The program includes:
  • 1-year SF Tri Club membership
  • 13-week training schedule with guidance on midweek and weekend workouts
  • 3-month pass to our coached track practice on Tuesday nights at Kezar Stadium
  • 3-month pass for our coached, triathlon-specific spin classes on either Wednesday or Thursday nights (locations to be confirmed)
  • Weekly group bike rides with fellow 0-60'ers, led by seasoned club members
  • Clinics and coached practices to help you improve your swimming, biking, running and transition skills including:
    • open water swimming clinic
    • transition clinic
    • bike handling clinic
    • flat tire clinic
  • A no-pressure mini-triathlon to practice all of your new skills
  • Access to all other tri club events, workouts, and community activities.
  • Camaraderie with like-minded athletes working towards the same goal
  • Mentorship of experienced triathletes
  • Social gatherings to get to know fellow members out of their spandex
Not included:
  • Entry fees for your chosen race.  You will need to sign up for whatever race(s) you choose to do directly with the organizers of those races.

2013 Program price:

  • $325 with a 1-year club membership (TBC Jan 1 2015)
  • $250 if you are already a member of the club (TBC Jan 1 2015)

Please note: 0-60 is a beginning training program, but we expect that participants have a basic level of swimming, biking and running. We offer clinics that will help you greatly improve all three events, but the program does not teach you how to swim or ride a bike. Club members lead the programs, not certified coaches.
